In response to *cartoonartist's meme for today:

Top five favorite games (and the systems they belong to):

5) Chip-chan Kick (PC-FX)

4) Mother 3 (GBA)

3) Earthbound (SNES)

2) Angry Birds (Chrome/Windows)

1) Getter Love!! (N64)

Worst five games I have ever played:

5) Makeruna! Makendou Z (PC-FX; still desperately want to translate the whole game.)

4) Sonic Spinball (GG, technically; I actually played it through Sonic Adventure DX, but the Genesis version is a whole lot better)

3) Death & Return of Superman (SNES)

2) The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare (SNES)

1) The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (SNES)

First console game I ever played:

-Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (GG; I actually had played a few other games on some old computer, such as Tetris and Donkey, a year before I got this game and the console for my birthday in 1994.)

Top ten favorite anime:

10) Mon Colle Knights

9) Ultimate Girls

8) Galaxy Angel

7) Armored Troopers J-Pheonix PF Lips Team

6) Pani Poni Dash

5) Azumanga Daioh

4) Popotan

3) A Little Snow Fairy Sugar

2) Kanon (2006 edition)

1) Lucky Star

Least favorite anime I ever watched:

-The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.  (Anything along the lines of Love Hina would normally qualify, but I deem it even worse when a someone constantly mistreats someone of their own sex than when a guy is constantly mistreated by even one female character, let alone a bunch.)

First anime I have ever watched:

-Pokemon, in September 1999.  (My other gateway into anime is Digimon, which I started watching a few months later).

Feeling nostalgic about, and why:

-4th grade (1995/96).  The year, early in which, I discovered Nintendo Power magazine (which sucks nowadays), and also got my first long-term game console (the Super NES) for Christmas.  One of the first games I discovered in NP was Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.  The whole year feels good to look back to (up until the end of school, anyway), and there is so much I can remember when I actively think about it that I can't possibly share it all in one shot.

As of right now, I am studying kanji in order to translate the Makendou quadrilogy, before I give a friend of mine permission to write a fanfiction version of Yoshi's Island which stars Mai Tsurugino (of the Makendou franchise) instead of the Yoshis.  Working towards that sure brings back memories of when I played the real Yoshi's Island back then, first in Walmart, then rented from Blockbuster a few times, and finally, received for my birthday that year.

Now it's your turn! Answer each question on this meme, and then create one of your own on your own DA blog, and I'll be sure to check out your DA page (as well as your LiveJournal blog, if you have one).
I need to make a reminder to myself never to pay points or money to anyone who doesn't have other non-personal work to show.

Meanwhile, here is a list of dA members I will not do business with.  More will be added if need be.

-Colaholic (Took up a commission, but drew it in his own style, even though one of the only two things I mentioned in the first note was to be able to draw in different styles from one's own.  Refused to do it over when I pointed that out, along with a number of anatomical errors.)
Man, does it piss me and others off how many pics get removed for featuring teenage or even younger girls nude or sexualized.

For the time being, any pics involving naked teenage girls that I commission others to do are going to be hosted at Hentai Foundry (if even there; and only w/ the artists' permission).  But, of course, not everyone wants to visit hentai sites for mere nudity or expansions, and some of us don't even want our works hosted there (hence why I hosted a certain pic on LiveJournal instead).

So, for the solution, I'm planning at some point to create my own site, to be called AnimeHippie, which will allow for these kinds of works, while prohibiting anything that crosses the line into full-out hentai.  Right now, I've just taken out a few HTML and web design books the other day, I'm going to take a class one month from now, and I still have yet to find a job of some kind.  Once I do have the site up, though, I will write a blog entry to mark it.

If anyone's interested in hosting their work at AnimeHippie or even just seeing what's there once it's up, please watch this blog.  Thanks.
Well, Yiuokami was nice enough to draw a pic for me, which has relevance to my Mon Colle Knights ficseries Monster Collection Chronicles, and which was also referred to in Mondo & Rokuna's BIG Date.  [link]

However, I should note that Rokuna is actually supposed to be naked, but the rules on this site... let's not even discuss them.  Instead, I've decided to host the actual pic in LiveJournal.  The following link is only to my blog itself, not to the pic:

(Thanks, Yiuo, for drawing the pic up, and for hosting a version of it on this site.)
